I’ve been saving the best for last πŸ€— This Pyunkang Yul Mask Pack is the last item I’m reviewing from the Try Me Review Me Box from Style Korean. A few weeks ago, I already hinted in one of my Instagram posts at how amazing this product was. In my post, I shared one of the shortest routines I’ve ever had, because it comprised only a facial cleanser and this mask pack (though technically this mask pack includes three steps 😁). This is perhaps the easiest way to glass skin and I am not even exaggerating! .

Step 1

Step 1 is the Peeling Gel, which is supposed to remove dead skin cells to reveal smoother and brighter skin. This gel is supposed to be rubbed all over the face and then you’ll notice little white clumps form under your fingers (in Tagalog, we call this “libag” πŸ˜‚). The libag should be washed off afterwards. After doing this, I immediately noticed that my skin was smoother and brighter. And we’re only on the first step 😍

Step 2

Step 2 is the Essence Toner Mask, which is supposed to hydrate and nourish the skin. I really liked the material of this sheet mask even though it easily tears (notice the eye holes of the mask in my photo). It was soft, thick, and drenched in essence toner! I felt bad having to throw it away after 25 minutes because it was still soaking wet! According to the product description, this sheet mask is made with the same fabric used in Pyunkang Yul’s β…“ Cotton Pad (I don’t know what this is, but it’s supposedly designed to deliver products to the skin more effectively by soaking up the essence and then releasing it when pressed onto the skin). Meanwhile, the Essence Toner itself is made of 91.3% Astragalus Root Extract, which is a great ingredient that has anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory, and nourishing properties. This sheet mask gave me the so-called chok-chok skin, BUT not yet the glass skin 😁

Step 3

Step 3 is the Balancing Gel. This is perhaps the most crucial step because this is the one that gives that “glass skin” effect. It’s supposed to lock everything in and prevent moisture evaporation. There’s more than enough product in this small packet, so you can use as much (or less) as you want, depending on how glass-y you want your skin to look. Don’t worry about its thick and sticky, honey-like consistency. It may not be easy to apply (because it also feels like you’re applying honey to your skin πŸ˜‚) but once you’ve already applied it all over and tapped it in, the tackiness goes away after several minutes. It does take a while to be fully absorbed, but patience, my friend, the results are so worth it 😍

Having said everything above, it’s quite obvious how much I love this mask pack. Now here is a mask that is really worth its price tag 😁 It’s hydrating, nourishing, brightening, glass-ening, chok-chok-ing πŸ˜‚ I really love the results and I will definitely purchase once my stock has run out ❀️

A box of 5 of this mask pack retails for US$15 (804PHP) on Style Korean. And oh, it’s currently 15% off!
