Some of you were interested in seeing my lipstick/lip tint collection, but I realized it would take a loooong blog post or several photos to feature everything, including swatches. So I decided to just do it one brand at a time. Today I’m featuring the Peripera Ink Airy Velvet (2019 Formula). I haven’t tried their old formula so I won’t be able to do a comparison. However, I’m very happy with these ones that I’ve tried. These are indeed airy, almost-weightless lip tints with a velvety texture that feels super comfortable on the lips. In fact, there’s even a cooling effect. I don’t know where that comes from but I’m not complaining; I like it very much😁 They’re also highly pigmented and buildable. They apply mousse-y but dry down to a soft matte. They’ll stay on for as long as you don’t eat or drink anything. But they fade after a meal. Yes, they do fade, but they fade nicely. A thick layer of these lip tints is moisturizing, but a thin layer tends to emphasize the dryness of lips, so make sure you exfoliate your lips well before using it. They retail for around P450-P550, but as usual, I got mine during a sale for only P300 each😁
I do my best to avoid hoarding products (but I guess my best is often not good enough😅), so as much as possible I get only two shades from a brand/collection. I picked two of the warm shades from this line: 01 Hotspot Red, which is a muted red; and 02 Selfie Orange Brown, which is a slightly burnt pumpkin orange. I think they look great on my medium-tan-with-yellow undertone skin tone.
Would I recommend them? Peripera Ink Airy Velvet’s formula is amazing. The colors I got are beautiful! The price is reasonable, in fact they’re cheaper than most Korean lip tints, especially during a sale😁 So yes yes yow! I’d highly recommend them❤️
Peripera Ink Airy Velvet is available on Style Korean and normally retails for US$12, but it is currently 58% off, so you can get it now for only US$4.99.
