I saved the best for last: Blithe Patting Splash Mask Energy Citrus and Honey!💛💛💛 If you’re familiar with a toner wash, the concept is very similar, only this one is an exfoliating wash, so be careful not to go overboard. This method of “non-mask masking” was inspired by the Korean bathhouse tradition of splashing botanical steeped water onto the face after cleansing to tone and brighten skin. All you have to do is mix a capful of this product with 700mL of water, and then splash and pat it onto your face for 15 seconds (though I do this for up to a minute). In the Philippines, we use a “tabo” (it looks like a hybrid of a dipper and a pitcher) when taking a shower, so I found it easy to use this product. I use the “tabo”, instead of a bowl or the sink to hold the solution.
In my experience, the result is significantly smoother, softer, and brighter skin! This particular variant of the Blithe Patting Splash Mask is formulated with a blend of citrus, honey and lactic acid to rejuvenate and improve the texture of the skin. This product must be potent because the results really made me go “wow!” Since it contains AHA (lactic acid), I use it only a few times a week, and of course, I make sure to wear a good sunscreen when I use it at daytime. To be safe, though, I often just use this product at night.
This product can also be used for DIY mini sheet-masking (using cotton pads), but make sure you leave it on for only a minute! You don’t want to over-exfoliate your skin. You can also use it for the entire body by mixing it with water in a pail or an Orocan utility can, and then pick up the tabo and slowly pour the water all over your body and then pat the water into your skin. You can also do the shower method, though I feel like it wastes a lot of water and does not maximize the use of the product. I prefer the “tabo” method😁
This product currently retails for USD36 (PHP1860) on Style Korean, and this 200mL is supposed to be good for 30 uses (30 capfuls). Will purchase the other variants (Green Tea, Purple Berry) next time when they’re on sale😊
