I’m so glad to have found another toner that’s good for the 7-Skin Method 😊 In case you don’t know yet, the 7-Skin Method is a skincare technique wherein you apply 7 layers of toner to your skin. It’s called 7 “skin” because in Korea, people refer to toner as “skins”. I’m a big fan of the 7-Skin Method because I like how it really hydrates my skin, making it look plump and bouncy, as though I have just used a hydrating sheet mask😊 Last time, I posted about my experience using the Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner for the 7-Skin Method (see my post dated 20 April). This time, I’m going to share with you my experience using the new TIA’M My Signature Vita B5 Toner.

What makes this toner ideal for the 7-Skin Method is that it’s:
❤️Alcohol-free
❤️Fragrance-free
❤️Low-pH
❤️Non-sticky (just make sure you let every layer fully absorb before proceeding with the next one)
❤️Really hydrating

I was also impressed by this toner’s ingredient list. It contains Panthenol (4th on the list), which transforms into Vitamin B5 upon absorption. Vitamin B5 penetrates deep into the skin and acts as a highly effective humectant. It is a well-known ingredient in skin and hair care products for moisture-retention. It also has soothing, healing, and even regenerating properties.

Aside from Panthenol, this toner also contains two other great humectants: Glycerin (8th) and Sodium hyaluronate (12th).

Other notable ingredients are hydrolyzed collagen (6th) and peptides (8th and 9th) to enhance the skin barrier, as well as three fermented ingredients (13th, 14th, and 15th) for nourishment and additional hydration.

The toner’s low pH (5.0-6.0) also supposedly makes it ideal to use with TIA’M’s My Signature C Source (which I’m about to order now on Style Korean while it’s still on sale 😁).

💁The Verdict

I find this toner very similar to the Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner (keyword: similar, not the same). Similar in terms of hydration and making my skin plump and bouncy, but not the same because the Klairs one has a more glowy finish. Similar in terms of hydration and making my skin plump and bouncy, but not the same because the Klairs one has a more glowy finish. The TIA’M toner also takes longer to absorb. Nevertheless, I would still purchase this TIA’M toner as it is a cheaper alternative to the Klairs one because I want to use something cheaper but still effective for the 7-Skin Method. The Klairs toner is a bit pricey for me, so as much as I want to use it often for the 7-Skin Method, it simply isn’t cost-effective 😅 The TIA’M My Signature Vita B5 Toner retails for only PHP680/US$12.74 (so affordable!) on The Skincare Curator, while the Klairs toner sells for PHP1,150/US$21.55 on the same online store. Big price difference but pretty close results 😉

Thank you, TIA’M for providing this product for review!❤️

What other toners would you like me to try for the 7-Skin Method?😊 I’m thinking of using the Thank You Farmer True Water Toner next 😍
