Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Re-Cover Cream (Renewed Version) Review

Around four months ago, I had to deal with allergic contact dermatitis, which made my skin sensitive to a lot of skincare products (even to those that I had been using for a long time!) But products from Dr. Jart’s Cicapair line seemed to have worked really well for me. For instance, this Dr. Jart Cicapair Re-Cover Cream helped me manage my skin irritation and redness. I used this cream for daytime as it served both as a sunscreen and tinted moisturizer. It wasn’t the best Dr. Jart Cicapair product I had tried, but it was really helpful when I had dermatitis. read more…

Laneige Mini Pore Waterclay Mask Review

Underrated product alert!💙 This Laneige Mini Pore Waterclay Mask is not new, but there’s not a lot of buzz about it unlike Laneige’s sleeping masks and lip masks. Out of curiosity, I got myself one 2 weeks ago when it was 50% off. And I totally have no regrets...

Dr. Jart Cicapair Cream Review

This Dr. Jart Cicapair Cream is just one of the many cica (centella asiatica) creams I have. What sets it apart from my other cica creams is that it has a balm-like texture that melts with the warmth of my face and hands. It instantly soothes itchy skin, that’s...

Review: Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion EX

Happy Easter, friends! Because today is a special day, I'm also posting about something special: the Sulwhasoo Perfecting Cushion EX! Yes, I'm finally writing about it after several months of delaying it haha! I have gone through one of these and opened two re-fills...

Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence Sunscreen Review

Is the Klairs Soft Airy UV Essence the best sunscreen ever? Let’s see. It has a high SPF and PA level (SPF 50+ PA++++), so it protects very well from both UVB and UVA rays. It contains UV filters DHHB (to absorb UVA radiation) and Ethylhexyl Triazone (to absorb UVB...

Hello Skin Jumiso Have A Good Cream Snail and Centella Review

Popped open my new Hello Skin Jumiso Have A Good Cream Snail and Centella, as the one I'm currently using is almost empty already and won't look as good in a photo😂 Recently I saw a post on Chemist Confessions about scientific data on centella asiatica extract, and...

St. Ives Sheet Mask (Glowing, Revitalizing, Soothing) Review

Seeing these St. Ives sheet masks at a local drugstore was a welcome surprise. It's been a while since I last used St. Ives products. The last time was probably more than 10 years ago already and I was still a student in college. So using the Apricot sheet mask (with...

THE SAEM Cover Perfection Tip Concealer Review

This THE SAEM Cover Perfection Tip Concealer is one of the gems I discovered through this community. I got (i.e., hoarded) it in the deepest shade (No. 2 Rich Beige) and it's just the perfect concealer for the area under my eyes. It has medium-to-full coverage and...

Dr. Jart Dermakeup Fit Cushion Review

The first disappointing product of the year, sad to say, comes from a brand I love. I had high hopes for this product because it is Dr. Jart... I mean, this brand is known for its effective and scientifically designed skincare. But then makeup is somewhat a different...

Blithe Patting Splash Mask Energy Citrus and Honey Review

I saved the best for last: Blithe Patting Splash Mask Energy Citrus and Honey!💛💛💛 If you're familiar with a toner wash, the concept is very similar, only this one is an exfoliating wash, so be careful not to go overboard. This method of "non-mask masking" was inspired...

Blithe Pressed Serum Tundra Chaga Review

When I first posted about Blithe last month, several people commented on how they loved Blithe's pressed serums, with a few specifically mentioning this Tundra Chaga variant. I was surprised because the only product I knew to be popular from Blithe was their Patting...
